Students in the human development and psychology Masters program will learn how to support healthy development across cultures and across the lifespan and to apply this knowledge in schools or another educational settings.
I program is very flexible, but strongly rooted in developmental science learning and education. We offer 2 puffs of study are general strands in our childhoods. Grand the general stranded designed for students with an interest in human development who wish to tailor their course choices to support their individual goals and interests.
Program faculty offer courses in early childhood education. Social emotional learning cognitive developed identity and cultural development as well as romantic relationships media and adolescents.
HDP students are United by a desire to understand how People develop.
The child advocacy strand is a bit more focused and as ideal for students who are interested in working on behalf of children.
The goal is to provide students with the interdisciplinary knowledge and skills to advocate for the needs of individual children or to advance social change with organ within organizations to improve children's development and learning from birth all the way to early adulthood.
In either strand students receive a Masters in education degree and all students come together to form the wonderful HTP. Cohort we gather for social events, academic sessions relevant to the field of human development and professional development programming.
